The Jezabels Sign to UK Label In Global Bid

The Jezabels have signed with PIAS Recordings in the UK ahead of the release of their debut album 'Prisoner' as the band grows from strength to strength around the world.

The Sydney four-piece are widely tipped to be the nation’s next serious export, with this deal arising after the label (full name, Play It Again Sam Recordings) saw the band at South By Southwest. It is believed labels, both independent and major, had expressed interest in the band.

PIAS Group Managing Director Edwin Schroter said, “I was blown away the first time I saw them and it’s great to listen to how the band have developed throughout their three EPs.”

The band have already been announced on the Homebake, Falls Festival and Southbound line-ups for the festival season. They will be touring the UK throughout the first half of September.
